1. Who Can Use FireCamp

You must be at least 18 years old to use FireCamp. By using the Services, you represent that you are 18 or older and that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Your Account

To access most features you need to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when registering

  • Keeping your password secure and confidential

  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at team@joinfirecamp.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being misused.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

FireCamp offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Features available on each tier are described in the app and on joinfirecamp.com. We reserve the right to change what features are included in each tier with reasonable notice.

Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed annually. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.

Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing at any time. We will notify you by email before any price change takes effect. Continued use of the Services after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms of service at stripe.com/legal.

4. Red Card Verification

FireCamp offers a red card verification program that grants verified users the ability to contribute crew intel to the resource directory. To become verified you must submit photos of a valid wildland fire red card.

By submitting verification documents you represent that:

  • The documents are genuine and belong to you

  • You are a current or former wildland firefighter

  • The information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge

We reserve the right to revoke verification status at any time if we determine documents are fraudulent or if your red card expires. Verified status automatically lapses when your red card expiration date passes.

5. Community Contributions

FireCamp's resource directory is built on intel contributed by verified firefighters. When you contribute crew data — including culture notes, PT intensity, OT averages, bunkhouse information, or any other resource fields — you agree that:

  • The information is accurate based on your firsthand experience

  • You are not submitting false, misleading, or defamatory information

  • You grant FireCamp a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use your contributions within the Services

  • You retain ownership of your contributions but understand they become part of the community resource directory

We reserve the right to remove any contribution that we determine is inaccurate, harmful, or in violation of these Terms.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, inaccurate, or misleading information including false crew intel or fraudulent red card verification documents

  • Impersonate another user, firefighter, or crew

  • Use the Services to harass, threaten, or harm any person

  • Attempt to scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from FireCamp

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code of the Services

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose

  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban

  • Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Services

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or another user's account

  • Use FireCamp to build a competing product or service

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. AI-Generated Content

FireCamp uses AI technology powered by Anthropic to generate crew summaries from community-contributed intel. These summaries are generated automatically and may not be perfectly accurate. AI-generated content is clearly labeled in the app.

You should use AI summaries as one data point among many when making career decisions. FireCamp does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content and is not liable for decisions made based on it.

8. Intellectual Property

FireCamp and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Henry Huber doing business as FireCamp and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our express written permission.

Community contributions to the resource directory are owned by their respective contributors. FireCamp has a license to display and distribute this content within the Services as described in Section 5.

9. Third-Party Services

FireCamp integrates with third-party services including Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic, and Google. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

FireCamp does not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free

  • Crew intel in the resource directory is accurate, complete, or current

  • AI-generated summaries are accurate or suitable for making employment decisions

The resource directory contains user-contributed information that we do not independently verify beyond red card status. Use crew intel as a starting point for your own research, not as a definitive source.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FireCamp and Henry Huber shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to employment decisions made based on information found in the app.
